Diaries sometimes make u relive ur moments of the past...while flipping through the pages of my diary,i came across one of the first assignments of my college life...it goes like this...
some words on LOVE.....
"SIRF EHSAAS HAI YEH,ROOH SE MEHSOOS KARO
PYAAR KO PYAAR HI REHNE DO,KOI NAAM NA DO"
LOVE,a feeling of eternal joy,a feeling which helps us smile, makes us cry,in short which makes us LIVE.It is a sacred emotion which makes us realize that our life does not totally belong to us.The people who we care for and who care for us are a vital part of our life.
Have you ever noticed that words like 'pyaar','ishq','mohabbat',
'prem',all synonyms of love are not complete in character.Ever wondered why? Have you ever felt that the word which gives our life a sense of completeness is in itself so incomplete.
After pondering over this, I feel that the alphabets themselves would have considered themselves incompetent to express this emotion in totality. This is a feeling which knows no boundaries, no boundations. It is like an endless ocean which keeps on flowing and making it's way.It is like the wind which blows for everyone. It is like a tree which provides an equal amount of shelter to everyone.
The word "LOVE",or the feeling of "LOVE"is of different meaning to all.It is a beauty that can be perceived as per the individuals .It has no norms to be followed or has no set criteria to be stated. It is present all around us in different forms. It can be portrayed in a relation of a parent and a child, amongst siblings, amongst friends, amongst peers. Each and every individual in this world is bonded with the others with this feeling.
It is because of the endless horizons of love that it cannot be limited in alphabets to express. It has its existence in hearts and souls of all individuals in the form of inexpressible feelings. One cannot assign any limits to these feelings.Every individual needs love to survive as "dil hai chota sa, choti si aasha".Our heart is in constant search of love. Our heart is always hungry for love. The more you get it ,the more you wish for it.
Love in itself is a very pious emotion. It is the mentality of the individuals which cannot discriminate between love and lust.It is not bounded by any relationship.Every relation has a touch of love in it .It is an unimaginable desire which we attain by destiny.People do not realize the sanctity and intensity of this emotion. They think singing romantic songs and dancing around trees, hand in hand,is love.People often do not realize that other relationships can also have the element of love in it.
Every person has different parameters to describe love.Mostly people do not have the same view for love. But the truth is that it is for one.
One cannot deny the existence of love in their life.It is present in our lives in some form or the other. It is for us to experience it,to feel it.If we close our eyes and think of all our relationships then we will realize how wonderful it is to be in love and will then need no words to define "LOVE".

Another assertion from the Prime Minister that no one involved in the terror attacks would be spared, another round of condolences for the families of the bereaved families of the victims, another round of cross firing by the political parties at each other. STOP IT!! STOP IT NOW!!! We have had enough. We now demand action. It is easy to sit in the Z security zone and make security comments but will these so called “Representatives of people” really do something for the people of the country.
Government in the constitution is said to be ‘of the people’- but is it listening to the demands of the people? Government is ‘for the people’-but is it doing something for the basic right of the citizens i.e. their security? Government is ‘by the people’- Is it so? Did we want Shivraj Patil to be elected? A person who could not win from his own constituency has been seated on the chair of the Home Minister. How conveniently is the Indian Democracy being ridiculed!
I strongly believe that these politicians should be dealt with in the Rang De Basanti way. They truly deserve it. As it is said that “Bahro ko dhamake ki zarurat hoti hai”, these deaf and dumb people need to be brought out of their comfortable couches of their OFFICIAL residences.
Standing at such a crucial position where India has faced one of its fiercest terror attacks ever, these politicians are busy again in their dirty vote bank politics and playing their blame game, bringing religious angle to every issue and dividing and communalizing the society.
For God’s sake if you cannot do anything for the betterment of the country at least do not do divide India as always. We need to stand united in this hour of crisis. When will u people stop addressing the citizens of the country as Hindus and Muslims or north Indians and south Indians? We are INDIANS!!
I would like to share an excerpt from a show by Rajdeep Sardesai the other day. As an example of the C grade politics in India he referred to a message sent to him by ATS chief Hemant Karkare. Karkare in the message wrote that he was disgusted with the state of the country. He mentioned that in spite of serving the country for so long, questions are still being raised on his integrity.
It is the same Hemant Karkare who lost his life battling with terror in Mumbai. The same political parties now regard him to be a very able officer and are offering compensations to his family. What do you think you all are doing..?? Do you think they need your money..?? It is the pride of the country they strive for and not your pennies. They fight to keep you safe. They give in their lives to so that India can be rescued. But will these politicians who work to “serve the country” ever get over their filthy politics and realize this feeling. Does their adrenalin pump for something for the country..?? If yes! Then this is the time to take action .Will these dead and injured counts always be numbers for the government..?? WE DEMAND ANSWERS…
On a sad note I would like to mention a message that I received just after the terror attack in Mumbai. It goes like this-
“Afzal ko maafi, Saadhvi ko phansi,
RSS par pratibandh, SIMI se anubandh,
Amarnath yatra par lagaam, Haj ke liye anudaan.
Wakai mera bharat mahaan….”
At this hour of grief and bereavement it is really disheartening to receive such a message. We need to stand together as INDIANS. I would like to make this appeal to one and all to be united and not let these terror attacks affect our spirit to stand up and fight against all odds. In spite of all these adverse situations we must keep our hopes alive that the dawn would certainly overshadow these dark clouds and bring success and prosperity in India.
MAINTAIN PEACE…..STAY UNITED….!!!
